Fabrication Work

Wilson

A storage system for meaningful belongings. Through a hierarchy of stacked containers, Wilson is intended to create a state of mindfulness when interacted with.

Due to its weight and minor asymmetry, when the unit is disassembled and reassembled each time it calls for care and concentration; diverting your attention from mental worries to a physical task. The more important or meaningful the item, the farther down in the capsule it should go thus requiring more effort and concentration from the user to further shift focus to the “now.”
